Andrew graduated from the GSA Conservatoire in 2004, where he was the Sean McGrath scholar. His first job as musical director was for the play She Stoops to Conquer at Hampton Court Palace in the presence of HRH The Earl of Wessex, where he also played the role of Diggory.
He was recently the Musical Director for the West End premiere of It Happened In Key West at The Charing Cross Theatre, London.
As resident conductor for The Welsh Musical Theatre Orchestra, Andrew has conducted in some of the biggest venues in the UK and internationally.
Recent Musical Director credits include: Brass (Mountview Theatre Arts), Call Me Merman (UK Tour), Made In Dagenham (SLP College), A-Z of Musical Theatre (UK Tour), Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Pomegranate) and Just A Housewife (UK Tour).
In 2016, he was asked to work with Dame Julie Andrews in the casting process of the 60th Anniversary production of My Fair Lady at Sydney Opera House.
Recordings include: It’s Not Really The Apocalypse (Original Concept Album), It Happened In Key West (Original Cast) and My Land’s Shore (New Cast Album).
As an accompanist, he has been lucky enough to play for many West End singers, including Caroline Sheen, Janie Dee, Savannah Stevenson and Rosemary Ashe. He regularly plays for auditions and masterclasses in London as well as teaching at some of the major drama schools across the UK.
